Rate: 11.44 per Hour  

Main Responsibilities as Care Worker:

• Providing exceptional high levels of care during all daily activities such as washing, dressing, toileting, socialising, learning, washing/personal care and meals.
• Days to day chores and tasks in the home
• Assisting with daily routines
• Excellent Notes and record keeping
• Reporting and monitoring
• Medication management
• Encouraging exercise and wellbeing
• Communicating effectively and building strong relationships that will empower the people we support
• Supporting positive behaviours
• Make a positive difference to the lives of the people we support
• Ensuring that the environment is safe, supportive and enjoyable
• Helping develop social skills and help to maintain positive relationships wherever possible
• Supporting people to safely access the community
• Activity and meal planning

• Ability to be creative in meeting the needs of the adults or children’s needs

Your duties could include :

• Helping Service users to wash, shower or dress
• Serving food or helping people eat
• Making and changing beds
• Turning Service users who are confined to bed to avoid pressure sores
• Talking to Service users to help them feel less anxious
• Helping Service users to move around if they find it difficult
• Support Positive routines
• Making the Service user’s home is tidy and hygienic
• Monitoring of food and equipment to ensure the service user does not run out i.e. Pads and wipes
• Your day-to-day work may include using mobility aids and equipment to help lift and move Service users
